Frequently Asked Questions
What does a typical visit look like?
When Santa Paul arrives, he immediately interacts with the children and adults that are present. Always polite and patient, Santa takes the time that is needed to make every child feel heard. Often the host has prepared a spot for Santa to take family-friendly photos with whoever wishes, and your time with him is yours to design.
How are you different than my neighbor dressing up as Santa?
Santa Paul is a Professional Santa. He has a REAL beard—no cotton balls here. His outfits are custom handmade costumes - classic red or Father Christmas green. In his younger days, Santa got a degree in Theatre Arts, and has additional trainings from the National Theatre of Great Britain. He further honed his skills while performing on various stages in Minneapolis/St. Paul from the 1980’s to the early 2000’s. He is very good with improvisation, which comes in handy with children of all ages.
What if I have pets that might be frightened or anxious?
Santa Paul loves all pets - but not all pets are comfortable with the big belly, beard, and hat. If your pet is well-behaved and obeys you, Santa Paul can work well with that. If your pet will be frightened, please put them in their own separate safe space during your visit.
How do you make our visit personalized?
Once you book a visit with Santa Paul, you will receive a detailed form that we’d like you to fill out and return promptly. Your visit is truly your own to design, so if you have requests, simply ask.
Does Mrs. Claus come along on the visit?
Mrs. Claus has a very busy holiday season, but sometimes she does accompany Santa Paul, if she is invited. If you’d like to meet her too, please contact me and we will check her calendar.
